Responsibilities
Architect & Deploy Solutions: Design scalable technical architectures for data marts. Define and implement critical components including data maps, transformation logic, and aggregation strategies
Engineer ETL/ELT Pipelines: Build and maintain high-volume data pipelines using the language of your choice (Python, C#, Java, etc.) and BigQuery
Drive Cloud Modernization: Lead migration initiatives from legacy on-premises environments to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring data harmony across hybrid infrastructures
Optimize Data Performance: Develop and tune data warehousing solutions to ensure maximum efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
Collaborate Strategically: Partner with Data Architects and Analysts to translate high-level business requirements into technical specifications that align with organizational goals
Establish Data Governance: Enforce rigorous data quality standards and maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure transparency and system maintainability
Qualification
Required
3+ years in data engineering, data warehousing, and business intelligence
Advanced proficiency in T-SQL and either Python, C# or Java
Expert-level experience with Google BigQuery and cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.)
Proven proficiency in GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage) and orchestration tools like Google Cloud Composer
Deep understanding of dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT best practices, and hybrid data integration
Ability to translate complex business needs into technical roadmaps and specific requirements
Proven success in high-paced environments, managing shifting priorities and ambiguous requirements with poise
Exceptional ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and negotiate project scopes
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience)
