Responsibilities
Provide independent, objective assurance through a variety of internal audit activities
Conduct consulting engagements that add value, mitigate risk, and improve operations
Review processes and procedures to identify and evaluate potential risks
Test internal controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational effectiveness
Assess opportunities to strengthen the control framework and enhance efficiency
Monitor department and organizational compliance with policies and regulations
Communicate audit findings clearly and effectively to management
Promote an ethical culture and support adherence to company standards
Work independently with minimal supervision, managing assigned audits from start to finish
Contribute to the development of company policies and continuous improvement initiatives
Build expertise and advance within a supportive, collaborative environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelors' degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field is required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to identify operational risks and recommend solutions
Ability to complete audit/assignment timely with minimal supervision
Ability to meet/work with Business Unit Mgmt. to present issues and implement recommendations
Possesses a 'Action Oriented Can-Do' attitude
Preferred
5 years of direct Internal Audit experience in the insurance industry preferred
Professional auditing certification is a plus
