The Electrical Engineering Internship offers students real-world experience working alongside professionals, focusing on skills development in report preparation, design, construction, and client management.

Responsibilities
Develop skills in report preparation, design, construction, and client management
Perform data gathering for reports, studies, plans, specifications, and estimates
Assist in design and construction of electrical systems
Qualification
Required
Completion of at least one year towards a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Ability to travel as required
All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations
Preferred
Completion of at least 4 semesters towards a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
Familiarity with principles discussed in the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70)
Field experience related to the electrical industry which has focused on and of the following principles: writing standards, motor controls, PLC programming, lighting controls, control panel design, generators, fire alarm, security systems, video surveillance, network security, and power distribution
