Service Line Sales Manager
Cognizant is seeking a Service Line Sales Manager to lead and manage channel sales focused on their services and solutions for install base clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise sales leadership and will be responsible for developing sales plans, ensuring adherence to sales methodologies, and maximizing sales productivity through effective team management.

Responsibilities
Develop vertical, and account sales plans to ensure sales and revenue goals achieved
Build and execute the sales plans in the target accounts
Ensure that each sales team is consistently applying the Cognizant Way to Sell (CWTS) and Client Value Framework (CVF) to shape, qualify, propose, and close sales opportunities
Ensure that all sales opportunities support Cognizant’s strategic business objectives, and are accurately recorded and maintained to ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue forecasts
Manage and resolve any internal issues or escalation requests of the pursuit teams or sales Managers to maximize sales productivity
Qualification
Required
20 years + experience in a senior-level consulting client-facing role or account manager leadership role
Demonstrated ability to hire, coach, mentor and retain extraordinary sales talent and teach what is expected with clients
Successful track record of achieving sales targets, growing revenue backlog, and growing market share in the ERP/ SaaS industry
Ability to qualify deals based on strategic company objectives, client business requirements and Cognizant's service offerings
Strong business and financial acumen to structure large-scale complex deals and Expert negotiation skills
Preferred
MS or MBA degree
Strong executive presence with the ability to influence at CIO, CDO, and CTO levels
Well-established relationships and market credibility across the USA
Powerful communicator with strong storytelling, negotiation, and value articulation capabilities
Ability to balance technical depth with commercial acumen
High ownership mindset, resilience, and comfort operating in a quota-driven environment
