Responsibilities
Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the facility’s operational goals and the organization’s overall vision
Collaborate with senior leadership to identify workforce needs and implement effective solutions
Analyze workforce trends and metrics to inform decision-making and strategic planning
Oversee recruitment and efforts to attract and hire top talent for both hourly and salaried positions
Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance and overall success of the department
Develop strategies for talent pipeline development, including partnerships with local schools, universities, and training programs
Develop and maintain a seamless onboarding process for new hires
Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention
Address employee concerns and grievances promptly, maintaining a fair and consistent approach
Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee morale and teamwork
Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews
Partner with the training team to support employee development and career growth
Partner with the safety team to ensure adherence to workplace safety protocols and initiatives
Partner with safety on OSHA compliance, workers compensation, and reporting/site visits
Identify leadership development opportunities to strengthen management capabilities
Ensure competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent
Collaborate with management team to review and adjust pay structures as needed
Educate employees about available benefits and support them in utilizing resources effectively
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
Develop and maintain policies and procedures that promote a safe, equitable, and compliant work environment
Lead investigations and resolutions of employee-related issues, including workplace incidents and disciplinary actions
Support managers and supervisors in handling HR-related matters, providing guidance and training as needed
Manage HR budgets, including training and development, recruitment, and employee programs
Report to work at the scheduled time, work as scheduled and is seldom absent from work
