Responsibilities

Manage small‐scale Building Automation System (BAS) projects initiated by Service or Program Managers
Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet STC quality standards
Communicate project updates with internal teams and clients
Receive, log, and manage incoming service calls in the service ticket software
Assign tickets to the appropriate technicians and monitor progress through completion
Ensure all service tickets are accurately documented with scope, resolution, and client feedback
Maintain a clean and organized service database, ensuring data integrity and up-to-date records
Maintain a centralized log of all project opportunities presented by Program Managers and Service leadership
Track the lifecycle of each opportunity from identification through proposal, approval, and execution
Provide weekly reporting on project and opportunity status to the Service Manager
Act as a liaison between clients, Service Technicians, and Program Managers to ensure clear communication and efficient issue resolution
Support the Service Manager with scheduling, follow-ups, and reporting needs
Provide innovative ideas to improve client efficiency, system performance, and Smart Tech Contracting service delivery

Required

Knowledge of project management software including MS Project and Procore
Knowledge of the importance of the Method of Procedure (MOP) process and work notifications
Skilled at producing drawings and visual aids using AutoCAD and / or Revit
Knowledge of DDC and PLC platforms including Tridium Niagara, Distech, Honeywell and Allen Bradley
Knowledge of contracts / subcontracts and review process
Knowledge of BAS, EPMS, ICT and role in overall construction projects
Knowledge of industry trends, project management and construction management procedures and best practices
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods and coordination of people and resources
Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in the construction mission critical, commercial buildings, or other structures
Skilled at using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), along with exceptional organizational skills for file management
Skilled in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows, optimize operational processes, and contribute to company-wide innovation
Ability to work successfully in a remote environment thru effective communication and organizational skills, self-motivation, proactiveness and resourcefulness in a distraction free workspace
Ability to identify and analyze complex problems, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions
Ability to follow company and site safety requirements
Ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports, and correspondence
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form (technical and non-technical information)
Ability to communicate effectively directly with clients and at times serve as primary point of client contact
Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently with little supervision
Ability to work under pressure and meet close deadlines
Ability to effectively plan and delegate the work of others
Ability to achieve certification for NFPA70E and / or OSHA training as / if required
Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction or related discipline
Minimum of five years' experience hands-on testing, validation and troubleshooting of BAS, EPMS and HVAC Control Systems with DDC and / or PLC platforms
