Responsibilities

Provide leadership and guidance to Analysts in problem resolution and support activities through training and mentorship
Represent the SCADA Display group in task forces, working groups, and special projects with minimal supervision
Ensure reliable operations of EMS and SCADA systems, making recommendations for improvements in quality and reliability
Maintain and enhance real-time data interfaces, tools, and software for SCADA
Stay updated on current technologies to keep EMS and SCADA tools current and effective
Build and maintain custom online displays for EMS and SCADA systems
Build and maintain tabular displays for EMS and SCADA systems
Define and implement internal standards for EMS and SCADA
Conduct complex troubleshooting and problem resolution across all areas of expertise
Provide after-hours support for EMS/SCADA systems as necessary

Required

Associate degree or higher from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or related technical field; or high school diploma and two years related military or electric utility technical experience
Two (2) year DMS/EMS/SCADA experience with Associate's degree and four (4) years of experience with a high school diploma
Individuals with a Bachelor's Degree with no DMS/EMS/SCADA experience may be considered for entry into the organization at this level
Detailed knowledge is required in one (1) of the following areas: Application development, Operating System support, Computer system administration, Database technologies and support
Associates Degree or higher from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or related technical field; or high school diploma and two years related military or electric utility technical experience
Four (4) years DMS/EMS/SCADA experience with Associates Degree and Six (6) years of experience with a high school diploma
Individuals with a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of DMS/EMS/SCADA experience may be considered for entry into the organization at this level
Detailed knowledge is required in two of the following areas: Application development, Operating System support, Computer system administration, Database technologies and support
