Responsibilities
· Install and configure routing and switching devices following change control process
· Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve network related issues
· Monitor network performance proactively
· Verify and update network documentation
· Ensure network related policies and best practices are followed
· Engage with manufacturing areas to identify network requirements
· Understand security best practices and offer solutions to the stakeholders
· Test and upgrade network equipment to most recent stable version
· Liaison between IT/OT departments
· Gather communication requirements and translate to Firewall rule requests
· Closely working on network Information Security topics such as:
· Risk/Vulnerability/Asset Management
· Incident response/Backup & Recovery
· Change Management
Qualification
Required
CCNA certification or similar
Deep understanding of the OSI model or TCP/IP stack
Proven hands-on experience with Cisco gear (1+ years)
Information Security knowledge
Understanding Purdue PERA model/CPwE
Preferred
CCNP certification (desired)
OT/ICS knowledge (desired)
