Responsibilities
Serve as technical lead for Workday HCM solution design and delivery across HR, Recruiting, Talent Management, Benefits, Compensation, and Payroll modules
Participate in architecture reviews to ensure optimized, high-quality systems and translate technology strategies into technical requirements
Understand High-Level Designs from Enterprise Solution Architects and collaborate with Product Owners and Business Systems Analysts to create/approve Low-Level Designs
Design and architect Workday integrations and configurations, ensuring solutions meet business needs effectively
Manage technical planning, development, and troubleshooting of integrations with third-party HR systems
Assist with effort estimation by assessing complexity, risk, and dependencies for HCM projects
Coordinate project design, support system configuration, and ensure proper transition handoff for new implementations
Provide expertise in evaluating HR applications portfolio and recommend technical releases supporting business needs
Analyze and recommend system enhancements to streamline HR and Payroll operations
Maintain knowledge of Security & Compliance Processes, Risk Management, SOX Controls, and data privacy requirements
Develop coding standards and technical documentation including design specifications and process flows
Qualification
Required
5+ years of developing end-to-end analytics solutions, including system configuration, model building, data security, and reporting experience
Experience identifying and resolving complex issues
Experience with architecture or system engineering
Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development life cycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations
Experience with Workday Human Capital Management (HCM)
Preferred
Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers, or experience debugging, profiling, and implementing best software engineering practices in large-scale systems
Experience analyzing and troubleshooting RESTful web API calls, or experience operating highly available, distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets
Knowledge of industry standard test automation tools and experience developing product test frameworks
Experience using data, reporting, or tools to measure performance and make adjustments accordingly
Experience with SQL and an RDBMS (e.g., Oracle) or Data Warehouse
5 years of experience in HR business/systems analysis role, solutions architect, or related experience
Global/Enterprise HR platform implementation experience
Workday Certifications(one or more): HCM (Core Human Resources), Benefits, Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, Performance Management, Security, Payroll, Integrations, Reporting, Extend, PRISM
