EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST (ELECTRONIC)
Air Force Civilian Service is seeking a full-time Equipment Specialist (Electronic) to work at the Air Force Materiel Command. The role involves serving as the division technical expert and providing technical advice and expertise to lower graded equipment specialists, ensuring high-quality technical assistance for assigned equipment.

Responsibilities
Serve as the division technical expert and lead equipment specialist for assigned programs
Provide technical advice and expertise to lower graded equipment specialists
Assure high quality technical assistance is provided in support of assigned equipment and for resolving incipient maintenance support problems
Make significant technical decisions and extensive coordination to achieve and maintain an optimum support position
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship
Obtain & maintain a Security clearance
Extensive knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of the program and/or strategic sourcing
Master knowledge of overall missions, functions, and organization of the agency or component. Ability to apply the knowledge to evaluate current organizational strategies and performance
Extensive knowledge of organizational concepts, principles, and practices as related to the requirements for performance-based logistics, acquisition, supply maintenance, procurement procedures, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, and other support areas
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with accuracy, and maintain good working relations with all individuals and organizations
Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations as related to organizational issues. Ability to understand and deploy lean concepts in problem resolution
Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, as well as developing methods and operating procedures as required
