HR Onboarding Coordinator
VCU Health is a healthcare organization seeking an HR Onboarding Coordinator to provide exceptional customer service and support to new hires. This role involves managing new hire documentation, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and serving as a point of contact for candidates during the onboarding process.

Responsibilities
Ensures candidate completion of new hire paperwork including background check and work authorization forms
Keen verification of I-9 documents, accurate submittal of background and work authorization documents through 3rd party vendors in a timely manner
Conduct remote/in person verification of employment eligibility documentation for new hires in compliance with federal regulations
Ensure proper documentation, secure storage, and maintenance of employee I-9 forms and supporting documents
Complete badge pictures and uploads to appropriate database
Completes notarization of Virginia State Police documents and runs Virginia State Police background check
Ensure all forms and signatures are completed accurately and timely
Address any candidate inquiries related to documentation and onboarding steps
Serves as a representative of VCU Health Systems as patrons, visitors and/or staff of the hospital may ask for directions or other questions
Performs other duties as assigned and/or participates in special projects in order to support the mission of VCUHS and the Department. Provides assistance to team members and accepts alternate assignments, as required, graciously
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
0-1 years of customer service experience. Prefer experience in a high volume of customer traffic (i.e. in-person or call center)
Excellent listening and communication skills with ability to provide high quality customer service
Aptitude for technology and be comfortable working in many different systems
Must be team-focused, self-motivated, and work with a modest degree of supervision
Able to multi-task in fast paced environment while being detail oriented
Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias
Lifting/ Carrying (0-50 lbs.)
Sitting, Walking, Standing
Manual dexterity (eye/hand coordination), Repetitive arm/hand movements

Preferred
Licensed Notary Public, or eligible to obtain License's Notary Public within one year
