Responsibilities
Build a High-Performance Culture: Manage, mentor, and grow a multi-team engineering organization, fostering an environment of technical excellence, psychological safety, innovation, and rapid iteration
Strategic Collaboration: You’ll act as the primary technical partner to Product, Sales, Data, and multiple other functions. You’ll translate complex business goals into a robust technical roadmap
Leverage Technical Expertise: Drawing on your 'been-there-done-that' experience, you'll provide guidance and architectural oversight to the team, acting as a catalyst for rich conversations and strong technical decisions. You'll be a trusted resource, helping to solve complex problems and ensuring our systems are robust, scalable, and secure
Develop Strategic Vision: You'll play a critical role in developing and championing the long-term strategic roadmap for our Inventory pillar. This includes evaluating and incorporating emerging technologies, such as AI offerings, to enhance our capabilities. You'll partner with internal partners/stakeholders and external vendors to develop forward-looking solutions
Qualification
Required
10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in a Director-level role or equivalent, managing multiple teams and managers
A passion for leading, mentoring, and developing engineering teams. You know how to hire top talent and create an environment where they can thrive
You're curious about and comfortable with emerging technologies, particularly in the AI space, and can identify how they can be leveraged to create a competitive advantage
You are an amazing collaborator who can explain a technical bottleneck to a Sales VP and a business pivot to a Senior Engineer without losing the nuance of either
You have deep, hands-on expertise in software systems. You should be able to dive into technical details and steer conversations when needed
You are data-driven and have led teams developing and/or integrating ML/AI insights to deliver customer value
You have a demonstrated ability to think strategically, build a long-term vision, and translate that vision into an actionable roadmap
