Responsibilities
Design and evolve enterprise network architectures supporting hybrid cloud and on-prem platforms
Define scalable, secure, and resilient connectivity patterns for data platforms and business-critical applications
Architect high-availability and disaster-tolerant network solutions, including automated failover and monitoring
Provide Level II/III operational support for production network environments
Engineer, configure, and maintain:
Firewalls and network security controls
Load balancers
Routing and switching infrastructure
Wireless networks
VPN and site-to-site connectivity
Monitor and optimize network performance, capacity, and reliability
Design and implement SDN, SDA, and SD-WAN solutions
Integrate Network Function Virtualization (NFV) where appropriate
Apply Infrastructure-as-Code practices to automate network provisioning and configuration
Reduce configuration drift and operational risk through repeatable, automated deployments
Implement and support network access control and identity-based segmentation
Enforce enterprise security standards across network infrastructure
Support secure connectivity for internal and external systems
Produce and maintain detailed network architecture diagrams and operational documentation
Document incident triage, root cause analyses, and resolutions
Deliver knowledge transfer sessions and technical walkthroughs to internal teams
Work closely with infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams
Communicate technical designs, risks, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders
Provide status updates and technical guidance during incidents and projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
5+ years designing and implementing enterprise-scale network architectures
5+ years hands-on experience with software-defined networking technologies (SDN, SDA, SD-WAN)
Strong operational experience supporting complex, production network environments
Deep knowledge of enterprise networking protocols and technologies, including: TCP/IP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, Enterprise routing and switching
Experience with network access control and identity-based security systems
One or more current enterprise networking certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, CCDE, PCNSE, NSE, JNCDA/JNCDS-DC)
