LHH is partnering with a private equity–backed organization to identify a Director of Accounting & Finance. This high-impact leadership role involves overseeing accounting and financial planning while collaborating with executive leadership on reporting, forecasting, and strategic growth initiatives.

Human Resources

Responsibilities

Oversee core accounting operations, including general ledger, close, consolidation, and GAAP financial reporting

Lead financial planning activities, including annual budgeting, reforecasting, and performance-driven variance analysis

Own cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization in support of growth and operational decision-making

Partner with leadership on strategic finance initiatives, including business modeling, profitability analysis, and key investment decisions

Play a key role in M&A activity, including diligence support, purchase accounting, integration planning, and post-close reporting

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting and finance team in a fast-paced PE-backed environment

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred)

10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership

Strong GAAP and financial reporting expertise

Direct involvement in FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis

Experience supporting M&A transactions and integration

Must reside in Metro Atlanta

Preferred

CPA strongly preferred

Private equity–backed environment experience strongly preferred

Advanced Excel skills; ERP and reporting tools a plus
