Responsibilities
Design and build mechanical/fluidic test fixtures; create 3D parts and assemblies
Develop and execute test plans; run tests and generate formal reports
Support design verification, robustness analysis, and design reviews
Perform CAD design (sheet metal, machined, 3D-printed parts) with GD&T
Set up and operate DAQ systems and lab instrumentation (pressure, flow, force, thermocouples)
Maintain lab organization, equipment calibration, and safety standards
Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and cross-functional teams
Qualification
Required
BS in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent experience)
4+ years experience in product design, testing, or manufacturing (fluid/motion systems)
Proficiency with NX CAD (or similar), DAQ systems, and lab instrumentation
Strong documentation, planning, and communication skills
Preferred
LabVIEW for test fixtures; MATLAB
GD&T, ASME Y14.5, tolerance stack-ups
Additive manufacturing/3D printing
Agile/Scrum familiarity
