Electronic Components Engineering Specialist

Responsibilities
Overseeing compliance with development processes and regulations for electrical and electronic systems and components
Investigating and troubleshooting all technical issues related to electrical and electronic systems and components
Managing and negotiating with electrical and electronic equipment vendors for the development of systems and components
Mentoring craftsmen, technicians and engineers in the development of electrical and electronic systems and components
Qualification
Required
Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum
Overseeing compliance with development processes and regulations for electrical and electronic systems and components
Investigating and troubleshooting all technical issues related to electrical and electronic systems and components
Managing and negotiating with electrical and electronic equipment vendors for the development of systems and components
Mentoring craftsmen, technicians and engineers in the development of electrical and electronic systems and components
Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges
Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives
Knowledge of mechanical engineering processes, techniques and methods; ability to design and implement machines and other mechanical devices that safely realize a desired objective or invention
Knowledge of processes and methods to effectively manage business relationships and transactions with suppliers of raw materials or product components; ability to apply related knowledge, experience and skills into real practice
Preferred
Advanced degree in related field, accredited program
Lead engineer experience in a NPI program
Strong communication skills, organizational skills and ability to influence
Previous engine component development experience including supplier collaboration
