Responsibilities

Support the Moorestown Manufacturing Operations work centers with performance & efficiency reporting, cycle time reduction, ergonomics, Environmental Safety & Health considerations, and other productivity improvements
Improve product flow, make recommendations with respect to methods and assembly process in a team environment applying Lean and 6 Sigma principles
Support Manufacturing Engineering evaluations for space requirements, factory layouts, capital equipment, capacity, and related initiatives
Perform cost evaluations
Provide Solumina/MES system and database support as required

Required

This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration
A level 2 employee typically has 1+ years of related experience

Preferred

Demonstrated knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, flow, 6S, and continuous improvement (Green or Black Belt certification)
Demonstrated technical writing and presentation skills
Experience with Production systems (EPDM, SAP, Solumina, Apriso) and CAD Software
Knowledge of manufacturing processes for aeronautics or defense products
