Mechanical Process Engineer

They are seeking a Sr. Process Mechanical Engineer with expertise in pipe stress analysis and finite element analysis to perform advanced analysis work and support industrial systems.
Responsibilities
Perform pipe stress analysis on industrial piping systems
Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) to evaluate mechanical, thermal, and fluid-induced loads
Verify that equipment, piping, and supports can safely handle operating conditions
Investigate equipment and system failures, identify root causes, and recommend improvements
Size and specify process equipment, piping, and supports
Prepare clear analysis reports and calculation packages for clients
Act as a technical interface between clients, vendors, and internal teams
Qualification
Required
BS in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of working experience in a similar role
Strong, hands-on experience with pipe stress analysis and FEA software
Background in industrial or process environments
Ability to translate analysis results into practical design decisions
Comfortable communicating technical findings to clients and vendors
Experience with Autodesk Inventor Nastran, Autodesk CFD and Pipe Stress Analysis software with AutoPipe, CAEpipe or Cesar II
Ability to learn and use various software for design, analysis and calculations
Legally authorized to work in the United States for any US employer without sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred
Familiarity with material handling, building ventilation, dust collection systems and/or power transmission
