Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd SHIFT

Responsibilities

You are responsible for defining technical solutions to maintenance problems for both day-to-day maintenance and turnarounds, taking into account regulations and budget
You are responsible for continuously improving the quality of preventive maintenance tasks and reducing corrective maintenance
You provide technical support, solicited and unsolicited, in determining the root cause and solution directions in the event of malfunctions
You increase the knowledge level of mechanics and operators by providing information, advice and, where necessary, training
You provide input for compiling the Maintenance annual budget and follow up on budget realisation
You will be responsible for implementing smaller changes, including the necessary Management of Change steps

Required

Experience in maintenance, machine setups, understanding metrology/dial/caliper and tools – preferrable in extrusion, compounding lines, plastics, chemistry industry or complex processes, rotative equipment, etc
Knowledge about pumps, gearboxes, hoist cranes, welding, etc
Knowledge about mechanical drawings
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position
Understanding of ERP
Technical education level in mechanics or mechatronics
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong problem-solving skills. Good analytical skills and strong judgment
Knowledge of relevant (process) safety requirements, engineering standards and laws and regulations
Basic English skills are REQUIRED
Must live within daily driving distance to our Evansville, Indiana location
