Responsibilities

Designs power, controls, and process instrumentation per the NEC, including hazardous classified locations
Provide detailed cost estimates for project design and implementation
Troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment
Develop electrical maintenance guidelines for industrial equipment
Knowledge of performing Arc Flash Analysis
Knowledge or experience with ETAP or EasyPower software
Expertise to develop electrical schematics and one-line diagrams that are logical, well-organized, and require little to no redlines
Expertise in Power Distribution
Work with maintenance craftsmen to troubleshoot
Project management and cost estimating
Provide Detailed Project Designs in AutoCAD drawing format

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of Engineering experience or 3 years with a Master's in the following engineering fields: Power Systems, Power, Electrical, Engineering, Design, Facilities, Operations, Aerospace, Control
Knowledge and ability to use Lean Manufacturing tools
Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project)
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access
Designs power, controls, and process instrumentation per the NEC, including hazardous classified locations
Provide detailed cost estimates for project design and implementation
Troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment
Develop electrical maintenance guidelines for industrial equipment
Knowledge of performing Arc Flash Analysis
Expertise to develop electrical schematics and one-line diagrams that are logical, well-organized, and require little to no redlines
Expertise in Power Distribution
Work with maintenance craftsmen to troubleshoot
Project management and cost estimating
Provide Detailed Project Designs in AutoCAD drawing format

Preferred

Understanding of the NEC and NFPA 70E
Revit and AutoCAD drafting experience
Experience designing and commissioning power distribution systems
Must be able to maintain one line drawing for multiple buildings
Experience supporting manufacturing facilities
Interpret building and utility drawings and make the revisions as required
Demonstrated knowledge of Utah Code and Regulatory requirements
Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project)
Knowledge of PLC equipment, VFDs, Motor Control Centers
Experience with ETAP or related software is preferred
