This role involves facilitating Agile ceremonies, managing Azure DevOps work items, and ensuring effective communication between the vendor team and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
Create and maintain Azure DevOps work item hierarchy (Epics > Features > User Stories) with clear acceptance criteria
Track sprint velocity and manage the team's capacity of 55-70 story points per sprint
Remove blockers and impediments that prevent the team from achieving sprint goals
Prepare and submit Weekly Status Reports using PPM tool with RYG status, velocity metrics, and achievement summaries
Develop Sprint Plans and Sprint Summaries using templates
Coordinate with Technical Product Owner for backlog refinement and prioritization
Manage carryover items and ensure sprint priorities remain fixed after planning
Support creation of Monthly AI Progress Reports with story counts and use case tracking
Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and contribute to Transition to Operational State Report
Ensure team compliance with coding standards and documentation requirements
Coordinate live demonstrations required for user story approval each sprint
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in software development environments
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for work item tracking, sprint management, and reporting
Experience working with AI/ML development teams and understanding of AI project lifecycles
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to coach teams on Scrum practices
Experience creating and managing sprint documentation including plans, summaries, and status reports
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in government or regulated environments
Preferred
Experience with state DOT projects
Familiarity with engineering or construction project delivery processes
SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) certification or experience
Experience with Microsoft Teams for collaboration and meeting facilitation
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
PMP or other project management certification
