Staff Accountant
Lighthouse Search Advisors is partnering with a growing, product-based organization to hire a Staff Accountant & Office Manager. The role involves maintaining daily accounting operations, managing accounts payable and receivable, and overseeing office operations and administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Maintain daily accounting operations within NetSuite
Manage Accounts Payable activities including vendor invoices, freight expenses, and reconciliations
Support Accounts Receivable functions such as collections assistance and customer statement preparation
Process credit memos, account adjustments, and routine reporting
Assist with inventory-related accounting including costing, adjustments, and COGS accuracy
Support month-end close preparation and general ledger maintenance
Perform bank reconciliations on a recurring basis
Partner with external CPA firms during tax preparation and compliance cycles
Assist with forecasting support and inventory planning initiatives
Prepare monthly and annual financial reporting for leadership
Maintain accurate, timely, and well-organized financial documentation
Oversee day-to-day office operations including supplies, communication systems, and internal workflows
Support HR administration such as onboarding coordination, employee documentation, and PTO tracking
Assist with recruiting logistics for warehouse and corporate roles
Coordinate internal meetings, calendars, and company events
Manage vendor relationships for services such as utilities, insurance, and technology providers
Provide administrative support to operations leadership as needed
Help maintain an organized, professional office environment
Qualification
Required
3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
2+ years of hands-on experience with NetSuite (required)
Experience in a product-driven business with inventory accounting exposure
Strong understanding of AP, AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
Advanced Excel skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Comfortable working in a high-growth, on-site environment
