Responsibilities

Build and implement robust compensation infrastructure for data center and critical operations roles globally including input into pay architecture
Design and maintain scalable compensation programs that attract and retain top data center talent, balancing consistency with local market requirements
Assist with benchmarking and market pricing initiatives for a variety of data center and mission-critical roles
Serve as a subject matter expert on market best practices, advising on competitive trends, regulatory challenges, and pay equity for technical and hourly operational workforces
Lead the governance of the Data Center job architecture by working with the business to define or adjust jobs as business evolves
Partner and collaborate closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to align compensation strategies with workforce planning and business objectives
Build effective, trusted relationships with stakeholders quickly, leveraging strong collaboration and communication skills to influence, problem-solve, and deliver results
Lead and manage compensation-related projects and programs, ensuring timely and successful delivery of key initiatives across global data center and critical operations functions
Educate and advise HR partners and hiring managers on data center compensation frameworks and infrastructure
Clearly and concisely communicate complex compensation concepts by distilling them into actionable, relevant insights for a variety of audiences
Encourage adoption of new compensation practices and help stakeholders navigate change

Required

Minimum of 8 years of progressive compensation experience, with meaningful exposure to data center, critical operations, or similar technical operational environments
Demonstrated success in building compensation frameworks and pay infrastructure from the ground up in an operationally focused, global, or high-growth company
Understanding of the unique work environments, talent competition, critical staffing needs, and shift structures in data centers or related industries
Strong expertise in market pricing, job evaluation, pay equity, and the unique aspects of technical and hourly/shift-based compensation
Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, and adept at managing multiple priorities
Outstanding collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to partner cross-functionally and establish credibility and trust quickly with senior stakeholders
Exceptional ability to simplify complex compensation topics and distill key concepts for non-expert audiences
Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and a consultative, solutions-driven approach, with an emphasis on attentive listening and understanding partner perspectives
Experience managing multiple complex projects independently in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field; advanced degree or CCP preferred
Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally as required

Preferred

Recent experience implementing job architecture projects or designing pay structures
Compensation infrastructure design experience specific to large-scale data centers or critical facilities
CCP, GRP, or similar compensation certification
Experience leveraging advanced compensation analytics and major HR technology platforms
Exposure to regulatory/pay compliance for operational roles across multiple geographies

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
