Responsibilities
Performs analysis to identify savings opportunities and develops sourcing based on commodity, vendor or strategic initiative, documenting cost savings and process improvement activities
Provides guidance for products sourcing for the various departments within Dycom
Collects and conducts analysis of spend data and other utilization data to identify expense reduction and operational improvement opportunities
Targets high volume/high cost supplies for focused attention and manages the contracting efforts to reduce cost and consumption
Analyzes and reviews all vendor documentation to ensure that all data is updated in, and uploaded to, the vendor management system
Assists in programming updates and implementations including new training functions of the software
Provides support in negotiations with business partners
Understands and interprets financial analysis such as contract cost impact statement and pricing comparison
Sets priorities based on customer input, savings potential, and organizational readiness
Proactively analyzes spend data to determine new areas for contracting or to enhance current contracts
Qualification
Required
3 to 5 years of Contract Management experience
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Project management and process improvement skills
Strong financial, analytical, and problem solving skills, as well as understanding of legal documents and agreements
Experience with contract administration and management processes, procedures, and software
Experience with Telecom Construction, GIS and/or Telecom Engineering
