Works independently, performing all tasks related to the surgical instruments which includes the maintenance, cleaning and storage of instruments and sterile supplies
This position sets up trays and accounts for new instruments that are purchased

One (1) year of experience in acute health care
Knowledge of surgical instruments and their use
Knowledge of supplies and equipment used during sterile processing
Preferred
IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management) certification preferred
Previous experience in sterile processing preferred
High school graduate or equivalent preferred
