The role involves collaborating with customers to resolve payment issues and maintaining favorable customer relations while focusing on finance and accounting responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls and routing them to the appropriate person
Greeting of outside guests and customers
Filing of completed job folders
Daily generation and sending customer invoices based on daily shipments of product to customers
Daily posting of data to the accounting system and accompanying record keeping spreadsheets
Represent the company in customer interactions related to invoicing and cash receipt questions and discrepancies
Investigate and resolve any customer short pay or overpay issues on invoices
Monitoring and communicating any late pay/past due invoices with customers
Work through customer payment issues as it relates to billing errors, shipping errors, etc
Onboard new customers in the accounting system and accompanying record keeping spreadsheets
Back up for Customer Experience Manager when necessary
Generating down payment and prepay invoices as the orders dictate
Qualification
Required
Minimum of two years of experience in front desk, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable or other accounting function
Experience with General Ledger account reconciliations
Experience in dealing directly with customers to resolve issues
Preferred
Experience in processing transactions with an ERP system
Experience with Sage 50 or Peachtree is a plus
Proficient in Word and Excel
Strong decision-making skills
Must be very detail oriented
Ability to define problems, identify solutions and follow through to completion
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and demands
