Responsibilities
Provide executive leadership over all operational functions within the Austin market
Assume full accountability for market performance, including P&L ownership
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, municipal partners, and key stakeholders
Recruit, develop, and lead high‑performing teams, including employees and independent contractor drivers
Oversee fleet readiness, vehicle utilization, and maintenance operations
Ensure compliance with all safety, training, and regulatory standards
Monitor and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly operational and financial metrics
Develop and manage annual operating budgets and control costs to maximize profitability
Support contract negotiations, renewals, and expansion opportunities
Establish and reinforce a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
Partner with Human Resources on workforce planning, labor strategy, and employee relations
Qualification
Required
5–10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations or general management
Demonstrated success with full P&L responsibility
Strong executive presence with exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills
Proven ability to develop leaders, build teams, and lead collaboratively
Results‑focused mindset with a commitment to operational excellence
