Responsibilities

Conduct tests using various types of lab equipment

Build circuit board prototypes using through-hole and surface mount technologies

Create schematics and PCB layout used to design embedded circuit boards on CAD

Learn 'C' programming of microcontrollers

Design, build, and test complete circuit boards

Qualification

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field

Ability to work full-time during the scheduled semester

Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher

Ability to return for multiple co-op rotations

Previous work or project experience related to hardware and firmware

Experience with C, C++, and Python

Experience with circuit board design

Sophomore or Junior class status
