Transatlantic Route Development Manager
hXpath is a leading player in the ocean freight sector, and they are seeking a Transatlantic Route Development Manager to drive business development and expand the trade lane between Europe and the United States. The role involves identifying new clients, developing trade lane strategies, and maintaining relationships with key partners.
Responsibilities
Drive business development for the Transatlantic Trade Lane, identifying and securing new clients both locally and internationally
Develop and implement trade lane strategies, collaborating with internal sales teams and stakeholders
Build and maintain strong relationships with key country partners and industry stakeholders
Utilize CRM tools to track leads, manage client pipelines, and convert opportunities into business growth
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities
Engage in regular client interactions, providing insights into trade lane trends and solutions
Cross-sell additional ocean freight services, including LCL (less-than-container load) and specialized container solutions
Travel internationally and domestically to strengthen market presence and drive sales
Ensure compliance with trade regulations and company logistics standards
Qualification
Required
3+ years of sales experience in ocean freight and freight forwarding
Strong knowledge of Transatlantic trade lanes, with existing industry connections
Proven ability to develop and execute business development strategies in global logistics
Experience working with CRM systems and internal sales tools
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
Ability to work across multiple cultures and travel internationally as needed
