New Grad, Entry LevelTecomet, Inc is seeking a Laser Marking Operator to operate laser marking machines according to customer specifications. The role involves starting up and shutting down machines, maintaining quality control through inspections, and ensuring proper measurements and focus for accurate markings.

Responsibilities
Starts up and shuts down laser marking machines
Follows program notes to build and install fixturing
Maintains proper line clearance for job
Completes jobs per standard procedures
Performs 100% visual inspection of markings on each piece
Measures any dimensions using proper equipment to confirm program is correct (i.e., caliper, optical comparator, gauging) and adjusts as needed
Confirms proper focus to achieve desired markings
Initials, dates, and confirms piece count is correct
Works independently and maintains productivity and quality
Reads and interprets prints
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Previous manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to read blue prints (Level 2) and use measurement tools (level 1)
Math aptitude with the ability to add and subtract decimals
Ability to work independently and maintain productivity and quality
Ability to read and interpret prints
Preferred
Computer skills
Microsoft Office knowledge
Drawing Editor software experience.(Level 2)
Working knowledge of working with inspection equipment (calipers, mics, comparators)
