Responsibilities
Support technical direction and systems engineering execution across complex national security space programs
Lead requirements development, allocation, interface definition, and verification planning
Coordinate systems engineering activities across multiple vehicle elements and teams
Support technical reviews, trade studies, and technical risk management
Promote systems engineering best practices and execution discipline across the program
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
10+ years of systems engineering experience on complex aerospace or defense systems
Experience with requirements decomposition, interface management, and verification planning
Strong technical leadership and communication skills across engineering disciplines
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
To comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including ITAR, applicants must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual per 8 U.S. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
Preferred
Missile defense, interceptor, or spacecraft systems engineering experience
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices and tools
Active U.S. security clearance or eligibility to obtain one
