Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for parents and guardians with questions regarding bills
Verify insurance coverage and benefit details, clearly relaying this information to families
Explain insurance plans, EOBs, and coverage limitations in a clear, family-friendly manner
Establish and reinforce financial expectations at intake and throughout ongoing services
Identify insurance processing errors to ensure families are billed accurately, and in accordance with their plan benefits
Collaborate with billing and insurance teams to resolve billing discrepancies
De-escalate upset or frustrated callers with empathy, confidence, and professionalism
Accurately document all communications and maintain organized account records
Qualification
Required
Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills

Ability to explain complex financial and insurance information clearly
