HR Assistant
RiverStone Health is a community health provider with a history of delivering essential health services. They are seeking an HR Assistant to support the HR team by performing various tasks such as onboarding, maintaining employee records, and assisting with payroll processes.

Responsibilities
Verify computer data entries of new employee files and changes in existing employee files (Ultimate Kronos Group/UKG)
Maintain employee files for record and retention keeping
Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software
Process Personnel Action Notice (PAN form) for employee status, wage, terminations and supervision changes. Responsible for tracking and updating employee files and UKG licenses and years of service information
Assist with scheduling or conducting new employee orientations
Assists with onboarding of new hires including processing documents for E-Verify, background checks, and for creation of employee records
Verify adherence to policies and procedures as well as applicable laws and regulations
Completion of employment verifications, including verbal VOE’s for employment, bank loans, child support, etc
Conduct pre-employment reference checks via phone or email for all new employees
Confer with the CPO, HR Manager and outside auditors on annual audit requests, reports and inquiries
Provides support to RiverStone Health Recruitment team
Assists with setting up HR Orientation conference room and other conference rooms as needed for interviews and HR functions
Orders supplies as needed for the HR team
Complete special reports and other documentation as necessary
Attends trainings and conferences necessary for the department
Perform other duties as assigned in support of RiverStone Health’s mission and goals
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
One year of Human Resources experience and familiarity with state and federal law
Any combination of experience, education, and training which provides the equivalent scope of knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work
Enhanced knowledge of HR Information Systems (HRIS)
Computer literacy, in Microsoft O365 Suite
Knowledge of modern office procedures, practices, and equipment
Ability to maintain a calm and positive demeanor during difficult interactions
Ability to display non-judgmental and empathetic listening skills
High degree of detail-oriented skill level
Knowledge and understanding of the importance of confidentiality
Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a positive work environment
Ability to be self-motivated
Preferred
Bachelor's degree
SHRM Certified Professional (CP) or HRCI Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
Experience working with Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) or comparable HRIS
Knowledge of UKG workflows, configuration, and report generation
Experience working in a customer service environment
