Responsibilities
Assist Industrial Engineers in conducting time studies, process flow analysis, and value stream mapping to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement
Collect and analyze operational data to support the development of performance metrics and efficiency reports
Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles, including 5S, Kaizen events, and standard work procedures
Contribute to the design and optimization of production layouts, workstations, and material handling systems
Participate in projects aimed at improving product quality, reducing cycle times, and decreasing manufacturing costs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and supply chain, to gather requirements and implement solutions
Qualification
Required
Major(s): Industrial Engineering
Class Year(s): Rising Junior, Rising Senior, Recent Graduate
GPA: Min 3.0
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is required
Effective Communication, Self-starter – Ability to drive work
Leadership Skills: Agility, Building Trusting Relationships, Decision Making Skills, & Resilience
Must be available to work in St. Petersburg, Florida from May 18, 2026 – Aug 7, 2026
Preferred
Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) or simulation software is a plus
