Client Relationship Manager - Revenue Cycle & Billing

Physicians Revenue Group is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Customer Relationship Manager to join their Medical Billing and Revenue Cycle organization. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, and overseeing compliance with best practices.

Responsibilities

Client Outreach
Contact every corporate client at least once per month
Follow up on all issues identified by any client, account manager, senior management, revenue cycle or billing manager
Communicate any concerns identified with the billing, revenue cycle and account manager
Keep revenue cycle (RCM), account manager, credentialing and billing manager, informed of any discussions with a client, as appropriate for the concern
Work with appropriate teams to resolve client concerns and escalate per protocol if not resolved. All issues need to be resolved or discussed if resolution cannot help
Coordinate with any department necessary to assist a client: coding, prior authorization, MACRA, compliance, finance, legal, etc
Confirm with the client that issues were resolved, along with a one month follow up to ensure the resolution worked
Identify clients that might not be a good fit for PRG, including those displaying inappropriate behavior to any staff member or requesting non-compliant activities or inappropriate communication methods
Ensure customer surveys are sent out for new and existing clients
Review all results, follow up with clients regarding concerns or questions and ensure appropriate teams are aware to help resolve any issues or escalate further if needed
Ensure that PRG staff and the client are following best practices and are HIPAA Compliant
Identify ways to continuously improve processes. Make suggestions to improve and/or notify appropriate departments: HIPAA/ compliance, IT, RCM, Billing Managers, Credentialing, etc
Confirm with the billing manager that standard operating protocols are updated based upon any findings identified
Request audit from the quality assurance team as needed to confirm any issues and a re-audit in a month if issues are uncovered
Ensure conversations and meetings are documented
Prepare and maintain weekly reporting of all client concerns
Review client meeting calls to ensure professionalism standards are met, including communication both verbal and written and attire
Ensure meeting cadence was professional and productive, the client was able to ask questions or voice concerns, and all necessary parties were in attendance
Confirm that the Revenue Cycle Manager is leading the call and is prepared with information and any reports needed
Confirm that all regularly expected client reports are present for meetings and reviewed during the meetings
Review any emails forwarded from a client to ensure that questions or concerns are resolved
Identify potential training opportunities and communicate those with the Training and Development Team, to ensure opportunities are addressed and follow up that any training was issued
Coordinate with RCM when training is needed by the client’s office and medical staff as applicable

Required

High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's Degree a plus
Minimum of 5 years in a customer-facing role
Able to work independently and develop quality process improvement processes
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience developing and tracking KPI's
Customer relationship management: 5 years (Required)
Revenue cycle management: 3 years (Preferred)

Preferred

Experience identifying training needs and opportunities
Compliance or auditing revenue cycle processes a plus
Cross collaboration with local and offshore teams
