Accounting Clerk
Clayco is a full-service real estate development and construction firm that emphasizes high-quality solutions for various building projects across North America. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for processing invoices related to projects, managing employee expense reports, and ensuring effective communication within the organization.
Responsibilities
Process Legal invoices
Process Warranty/Closed Job invoices
Process monthly utility bills for jobs
Process monthly rent payments for out of town jobs (shared with other accounting clerk)
Process Cort invoices for the apartments above (shared with other accounting clerk)
Manage integration of account payable invoices from DataServ to JD
Follow up on any errors
Process weekly employee expense reports in Concur, auditing for proper receipts and backup
Enter field expense report cost into JD Edwards
Report field employees reimbursement amounts to payroll
Get appropriate approvals for all expense reports
File completed field expense reports
Qualification
Required
The ability to function effectively in a highly entrepreneurial environment, both as a team player and independently
Ability to work in a fast paced setting, with weekly deadlines
Ability to solve problems
Must be very detail oriented and able to organize and prioritize time
Preferred
Construction experience preferred but not required
