Responsibilities
This position is for an experienced hardware engineer with a background in power engineering to provide engineering support for Oracle rack power infrastructure
Job responsibilities the development of lab test hardware and automating test procedures, project management of subtier suppliers, developing validation testing strategies and procedures, review and analysis of supplier test data submitted as part of product release, field support of including troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex problems often without the failing hardware
This candidate will also provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
Qualification
Required
Design experience of AC/DC power supplies, DC/DC converters
Working understanding of regulatory standards as applied to the release of power products
Proficient in the use of test equipment including oscilloscopes, differential probes, current probes, electronic AC source and DC loads, Arduino's and Aardvark's
Demonstrated ability to debug complex problems
Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to multi task
Demonstrated ability to work in a group or as an individual contributor

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
