Responsibilities
Design Cybersecurity capabilities to meet Navy requirements and protect systems against emerging Cyber threats
Analyze current systems engineering documentation and processes
Conduct threat analysis and risk assessments on current systems and processes
Decompose government-provided requirements and security controls into system-level requirements
Support team efforts to create/update requirement and accreditation documentation
Collaborate with management, development, testing, and logistics team leads
Ensure system engineering tasks are completed in a timely manner to allow other components of the team to meet timelines
Collaborate on Authorization and Accreditation efforts with accreditation stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire
U.S. citizenship is required
Preferred
Agile experience preferred
Familiarity with Cybersecurity capabilities, including access control, auditing, network firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and encryption requirements for data-at-rest and data-in-motion
Strong interest in systems engineering principles and practices
Strong interest in requirements management and traceability
Familiarity with Cybersecurity standards including ICD-503, NIST 800-53, DJSIG, or the DoD 8500 series
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, well-versed in MS Office products
Experience working in an Agile environment
