They are currently seeking SOC Compliance Interns for 2026 to participate in SOC examinations and assist on various consulting and auditing engagements.

Responsibilities
Participate in SOC 1, SOC 2 and SOC 3 examinations, as well as consulting services for SOC examinations
Gain knowledge of the firm's assurance and consulting services
Assist project managers, clients and peers on various consulting and auditing engagements
Qualification
Required
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. Baker Tilly will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B, STEM OPT)
Must have completed or be enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program, with a preference for accounting majors
Must reside within a commutable distance to a Baker Tilly office and be willing to work on-site
Eligible candidates must have academic courses remaining at the end of the internship; ideally, in the third year of a 4-year program, or fourth year of a 5-year program
Preferred
Major in Accounting or coursework in technology-related fields highly desirable
If an accounting major, meeting educational requirements to obtain CPA license upon full-time Staff hire, preferred
Willingness to travel to client locations, including overnight stays, with travel expectations varying by department and office location
Flexibility to work overtime or additional hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
Excellent customer service skills; Ability to understand own and others' emotions in order to achieve desired goals
Creative problem solving, critical thinking and research skills; Organize information and exercise well-reasoned judgment
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; Demonstrate confidence in decision making and poise in professional setting
Work effectively both as part of a team and independently
Highly motivated and embrace challenges as opportunities to grow
Quickly adapt to changing work environment, including the use of software, systems and technology
Outstanding organization and project management skills; Take responsibility for quality and timeliness of projects
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
