Responsibilities
Configure, operate, and manage Azure security services, including Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Key Vault, to safeguard cloud assets and data
Work alongside IT and Information Security teams on Azure-specific projects and initiatives to support secure and scalable deployments within the cloud
Consult with IT teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities within Azure environments, ensuring timely and effective risk mitigation
Monitor Azure threat management systems to identify and assess potential security incidents or breaches within cloud systems
Investigate, analyze, and escalate security incidents related to Azure environments as needed, coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues swiftly
Contribute to the development and implementation of security principles, technical reference architectures, standards, baselines, and blueprints tailored for Azure, supporting a proactive and structured security posture
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, Information Technology and cloud security principles/concepts
Expertise in Azure security tools and architecture
Experience configuring and operating Azure security services, including Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Key Vault
Ability to collaborate on Azure-specific projects and initiatives
Experience in vulnerability management within Azure environments
Experience in monitoring Azure threat management systems
Ability to investigate, analyze, and escalate security incidents related to Azure environments
Experience in developing and implementing security principles, technical reference architectures, standards, baselines, and blueprints tailored for Azure
Preferred
Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, or similar Azure-focused certifications are preferred
Additional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are advantageous
