Responsibilities
Analyze government solicitations and prepare competitive bids/proposals
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine procurement needs
Manage post-award activities, including purchase orders, vendor selection, and contract compliance
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery requirements are met
Maintain compliance with federal acquisition regulations and internal policies
Act as the liaison between internal teams, government agencies, and vendors throughout the contract lifecycle
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in government contracting (federal, DoD/DLA strongly preferred)
Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and government acquisition processes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
Strong negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
