Responsibilities
Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive test plans and test cases for software products
Design, execute, and maintain both manual and automated testing processes to ensure high software quality
Validate data accuracy and integrity by writing and executing complex SQL queries
Collaborate with development teams to understand software features, requirements, and potential impact areas for thorough testing
Identify, document, and track software defects, and work closely with developers to resolve them
Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like Selenium, QTP, or similar, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
Conduct detailed regression testing to ensure new features and bug fixes do not negatively impact existing functionalities
Review code and provide input on quality assurance and testing best practices
Work with product managers and stakeholders to ensure that acceptance criteria are clearly defined and met
Drive continuous improvements in testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance product quality
Mentor junior QA engineers and share knowledge and best practices with the team
Maintain comprehensive documentation of test processes, outcomes, and overall quality metrics
Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in quality assurance, automation, and data validation
Qualification
Required
Minimum of ten (10) years' experience with QA engineering
Five (5) plus years' experience supporting on prem cloud environments
Five (5) plus years' experience utilizing Azure
Requires an active SECRET security clearance to start
