Responsibilities
Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure timely, accurate reporting
Oversee general ledger activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis
Own inventory accounting, including accuracy of valuation and financial reporting
Maintain compliance with accounting policies, standards, and internal controls
Manage, coach, and develop an accounting team; drive accountability and continuous improvement
Support financial statement preparation and management reporting
Analyze results, identify trends, and communicate insights to leadership
Coordinate audit support and ensure documentation is audit-ready
Drive process improvements across accounting workflows and reporting
Support growth initiatives, including integrations and operational expansion
Partner with finance teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance commentary
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience (general ledger + reporting focus)
Direct experience supporting inventory accounting in a complex environment
Experience leading close cycles and supporting audit readiness
Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals and internal controls
Proven team leadership and development experience
Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and reconciliation ability
Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
CPA preferred; MBA a plus
Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, or high-growth environments
Mid-market experience (including investor-backed environments)
