Responsibilities
Support the Systems and Technology group
Work with engineers of various disciplines
Exposed to a variety of engineering challenges
Development of design plans, specifications and cost estimates for security, video surveillance, public address, data and telecommunications, intelligent transportation systems, and other systems engineering work tasks
Attend site visits that include commercial, railroad, transit, highway, and airport locations
Client and internal meetings
Meetings with vendors and manufacturers
Qualification
Required
In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Computer, or Industrial Engineering from an accredited program
Must be at least a rising Junior
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Interest in Buildings Electrical Systems design
Preferred
3.0 GPA
Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCad, and/or MicroStation
A previous internship related to your field of study
Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs
Self-driven time management and organizational skills
