Strategy Director - Payment Integrity Strategy & Planning

Responsibilities
Work closely with executive leadership to define success criteria and develop strategic plans that align with the enterprise's and the region's strategic goals, transforming strategy into actionable plans
Convert high-level strategy into specific tactics, programs/projects, and timelines, ensuring alignment with business goals and the seamless achievement of strategic milestones
Expertly develop and present high-quality presentations to executive leaders, aligning with best practice industry standards and influencing strategic direction
Oversee the development and implementation of metrics that measure and communicate progress against strategic goals, ensuring initiatives meet desired outcomes and maintain alignment with financial modeling and IT plans
Conduct thorough research on industry trends, leveraging insights to refine business strategies and maintain competitive market positioning
Develop and track budget metrics to ensure strategic initiatives are financially sustainable and identify areas for cost optimization
Partner with senior staff to develop tactical and communication strategies, acting as a key decisionmaker and providing guidance on complex issues and projects
Lead breakthrough projects to transform the business environment while managing vendor interactions, including selection, negotiation, and relationship management to support strategic goals
Serve as a strategic expert on enterprise projects, taking responsibility for approval and direction concerning initiatives sponsored by executive leaders
Provide coaching to organizational leaders on strategic thinking and high-impact projects, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
Qualification
Required
Requires a BS/BA degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of related experience including 3 years of leadership/management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
Experience in a strategic planning, project/program management, or consultative-type role working directly with an Executive leader or Executive team to deliver outcomes preferred
Expertise in designing and delivering communications to C-level audiences preferred
Executive presence, gravitas, C-level communication skills are preferred
Domain experience in Payment Integrity, PI Data Mining Organization, PI Operations is most preferred
Health Insurance business and data mining can also be preferred
Experience with business case development, financial modeling, and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred
