Responsibilities
Monitor enterprise VOIP networks and systems for availability and performance
Respond to documents and escalate incidents through resolution
Utilize monitoring and ticketing tools including Remedy, Netcool, Splunk, SolarWinds, and Cisco ISE
Troubleshoot WAN, LAN, VOIP, wireless, desktop, and application connectivity issues
Communicate clearly with users and escalation teams
Maintain accurate documentation and follow established procedures
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced operations environment
Strong customer service and communication skills
Detail-oriented, reliable, and self-motivated
Team-oriented with a desire to learn and advance
Active Secret Security Clearance
DoD 8140 (441) Network Operations Qualified – Intermediate
Preferred
Prior NOC, help desk, or IT support experience
Basic understanding of networking principles
Familiarity with Cisco networking and VOIP equipment
Experience using a ticket tracking system such as Remedy
Cisco CCNA
