Brescia University is seeking a Director of Clinical Mental Health Counseling MS Program who will also serve as a full-time faculty member. The role involves providing program leadership in curriculum development, faculty mentorship, and maintaining accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

Provide year-round program leadership in areas such as curriculum development, student handbook and other required documents, program budget and expenditures as well as involvement in faculty employment decisions
Respond to inquiries regarding the overall counselor education program
Work with program faculty to ensure their knowledge of ongoing professional development opportunities, and keeps an annual record of professional development for all faculty within the program
Receive, process, and analyze all course assessment products from program faculty within the discipline and uploads requested data into Campus Labs each semester/year
Assist with the processing of student academic complaints, especially grade grievances
Maintain contact with CACREP in relation to the program and prepare all needed documents for accreditation/reaffirmation

Qualification

Doctoral degree in counselor educationLicensed professional clinical counselorExperience as full-time facultyCurriculum developmentCACREP accreditation knowledge

Required

Doctoral degree in counselor education, preferably from a CACREP accredited program
A related doctoral degree with 1 academic year of experience as a full-time faculty member in a counselor education program
Full-time doctoral-level faculty member in a CORE-accredited master's program
Graduation from a rehabilitation doctoral program
Licensed (or KY state license eligible) as a professional clinical counselor (LPCC)
