This attorney will oversee a diverse caseload of criminal matters, represent clients at all stages of the criminal process, and work closely with a collaborative legal team.

Responsibilities
Manage and oversee a broad range of criminal defense cases, including misdemeanors and felonies
Represent clients in court proceedings such as arraignments, hearings, motions, trials, and sentencing
Conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
Provide strategic legal counsel and case evaluations to clients
Negotiate with prosecutors on plea agreements and case resolutions
Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case status and legal options
Collaborate with investigators, paralegals, and support staff
Ensure compliance with all ethical, legal, and professional standards
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license and good standing with the Nevada State Bar
Prior experience in criminal defense
Strong courtroom presence and litigation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently
Strong analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills
Preferred
Trial experience in criminal cases
Familiarity with Nevada criminal law and local court procedures
Experience handling high-volume caseloads
