The role focuses on infrastructure automation, Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices to enable engineering teams to deliver software rapidly and securely.

Responsibilities
Design and manage cloud environments using both vendor consoles and Infrastructure as Code
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows
Deploy, scale, and operate Kubernetes container platforms
Automate builds, regression testing, monitoring, and release processes
Develop internal tools to improve DevOps/Platform maturity
Implement security best practices across cloud and platform layers
Monitor system reliability, availability, and performance
Troubleshoot complex production issues
Prototype new technologies and solutions
Act as a technical lead on projects and mentor team members
Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree + 5 years experience (or Master's + 3 years)
4+ years working with DevOps/Platform engineering in production systems
4+ years supporting containerized/Kubernetes workloads
3+ years hands-on with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Experience with EC2, S3, VPC, ELB, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, Route53, KMS, SSM
Exposure to Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud
Kubernetes, Docker, Helm
GitOps tools (Flux, Argo CD)
CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CodeStar)
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK
Configuration/orchestration: Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt
IAM, least privilege, RBAC
Secrets management
Vulnerability scanning & remediation
Monitoring/alerting & logging systems
Experience with one or more: Python, Go, Java, Shell, PowerShell, C/C++
Preferred
DevSecOps implementation experience
Enterprise-scale cloud migrations
Platform engineering or internal developer platform experience
Leadership/mentoring exposure
Consulting or client-facing experience
