Responsibilities
Perform destructive and nondestructive testing and measurements of parts to ascertain conformance of specification
Train production employees on Quality Standards and Measurement Methods
Audit in-process injection molding machines for conformance to specifications
Enter/update data, and create reports to run regularly (weekly, monthly, etc.)
Analyze and interpret statistical data to evaluate the performance of injection molding machines
Assist in the calibration of basic inspection hand tools
Identify defects and nonconforming material
Support root cause investigations and corrective/preventative action activities
Communicate quality concerns to supervisors, operators and management
Participate in process audits, product audits and quality improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
1-3 years of experience in quality, manufacturing or related field
